With a sweep of last week’s election, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has swung to a 5-2 Democrat majority. Republicans had held a 4-3 advantage on the high court before Chief Justice Ron Castille reached mandatory retirement age and Seamus McCaffery and Joan Orie Melvin left the bench in disgrace.
